Elliott Bay Recording Company

Elliott Bay Recording Company is a large 2,200 sq. foot recording facility in the Capitol Hill district of Seattle, WA. The centerpiece of the studio is a great console, the Sony DMX-R100, and an HD Pro Tools system. A big control room, huge playing room and 3 isolation rooms allow maximum separation for all musicians. Email us for more infomation.

The acoustically designed control room is an ideal size for a controled listening environment and large enough to accommodate many musicians at once.

The huge playing room can handle up to 30 musicans at the same time. The concrete walls and non parallel surfaces generate a huge sound for drums, etc.

The main isolation room can handle up to 8 musicians at once, and has a nice bright sound ideal for acoustic instruments, vocals and percussion. Two smaller isolation rooms are available.

Elliott Bay Recording Company provides a well maintained recording facility for all your recording and mastering needs. Scott and Brian are accomplished engineers/producers with many years of experience. When you come to Elliott Bay Recording Company, we will engineer and provide as much production help that you need to help produce your project to its fullest.

Rates for recording are $55 an hour or $500 for a 10 hour day. A deposit of 50% is required to book the sessions, and a 72 hour notification is needed for cancellation. Backups will be made at the end of each session to an external hard drive at no cost to the client, but at the end of the project, all files will be backed up to dvds.

Cdr's are $1 each and dvdr's are $5 each.

Scott Ross is an accomplished recording engineer/producer with 25 years experience and over 400 album credits ranging from major label to independent artists that he has recorded around the world. He went to school for audio engineering at Eastern Washington University. He then headed down to Los Angeles to learn the craft of record production. He spent 10 years in Los Angeles working at various recording studios recording anything from 40 piece orchestras to small group ensembles, and working with a varied amount of musicians and artists. He has spent the last 13 years in Seattle. Click here for his discography.
